Content and consistency are what could drive an artist over the top when it comes to being fruitfully successful in music, and for Gucci Lando (aka Lil Gucci) it’s all gas, no brakes when it comes to striving to achieve the goals he’s set for himself in being a New-Age artist.

Born and raised on the West side of Detroit, Michigan, Gucci is redefining what it means to be a part of the New-Age genre through his creative, sporadically intense cadences, pure melodies, and fervent lyricism. At age 17, delving into rap after graduating high school, Gucci (whose name is inspired by the likes of his favorite rapper, Gucci Mane) took heed to a dream of his in not wanting to be average.

Wanting to experience life at its true capacity led Gucci to pursue something different for himself and he started creating music. With influences from the likes of 50 Cent, Jay Z, Drake, and Lil Wayne, Gucci is passionate about exploring his creativity and being transparent in his ability to express himself through creative mediums like music and acting.

His aspirations for winning a Grammy and Music Video of the Year award parallel his work ethic and speaks volumes to his determined mindset. Gucci lives by the motto “the book is still being written,” and his ability to make a “180-turn” – alongside his critically-acclaimed Turn Around series – is the reason why he will prevail in today’s music climate. His ‘never give up’ attitude is at the forefront of his character and backed with a die-hard team of supporters.
